Mission
The Office of International Education is the primary catalyst for Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s international initiatives. The office proactively facilitates, promotes, and organizes the international programs, events, support, and initiatives to more fully diversify IUP and local Western Pennsylvania communities.
The Office of International Education assists more than seven hundred international students from seventy-five different countries during their stay at IUP and helps to send more than three hundred students a year on study abroad. The office also liaises with departments and faculty in a number of different ways to further internationalize IUP.
