| Pratt 302 The Career Development Center provides practice employment interviews in a simulated office environment for a small fee. The interview allows you to practice several behaviors such as answering tough interview questions smoothly, how to dress for an interview, recognizing body language, and practicing manners and eye contact.
The interviews are recorded onto a DVD so that visual feedback can be provided during the interview session. Mock interviews are conducted Monday through Friday during the semester and may be scheduled by visiting the Career Development Center in Pratt 302. Once an appointment is scheduled, a résumé, cover letter, and job posting must be submitted at least two business days (only Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are considered business days) before the scheduled interview. | Career Development Center |

5:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. | Center for Health and Well-Being TB Test are given in two parts. The injection and the readings which is done two days later at the same time and location as the clinic. If you do not get the test read within 48 to 72 hours, you will have to repeat the testing. Free to any student who has paid “Wellness Fee A” if the testing is obtained during the clinics listed! Any student wishing to receive the test at other times will sign in at the health center as a walk-in and will be charged $15.00. Community Wellness Fee students are eligible to participate in the clinics for a fee of $15.00 Students with no paid Wellness Fee will be changed $55. (TB testing cannot be given on Thursdays). 6:00 p.m.–7:30 p.m. | HUB Ohio Room Four women associated with the exhibit, "In Sisterhood: The Women's Movement in Pittsburgh" - Dr. Patricia Ulbrich, Ms. Barbara Hafer, Ms. Ann Begler, and Dr. Maureen McHugh - will discuss "share their experiences, the importance of the Women's Movement, and the related exhibit," whose goal is to not only pay tribute to the women in Western Pennsylvania who "worked hard to promote equality," but also, "to raise awareness about the role of social movements in our democratice society and to encourage civic engagement." This event is FREE and cosponsored by the President's Commission on the Status of Women in in collaboration with Women Studies, the African American Cultural Center, 6 O'clock Series, and a number of other University departments. 6:30 p.m.–9:30 p.m. | Sprowls Hall, Room 211 Get an introduction to the essential materials and techniques of drawing, students will develop observational abilities and rendering skills. The instructor presents methods of describing objects in terms of line, form, value, shape, and texture. Course projects help students explore the principals of light, space, composition, study basic shapes and graphite and charcoal. Students will be encouraged to draw from life setting objects, study basic shapes and shading, and experiment with new tools and drawing media. By the end of the class, students will have skills necessary to develop their relationship to their own work and to convey ideas and concepts through drawling. This class is for both beginners and students with experience.
