About: IUP Women's Basketball
The Crimson Hawks are looking to return to the PSAC tournament for the fifth straight year under Head Coach Jeff Dow, and he returns five starters from a season ago. A Division II Bulletin Preseason All-American, Pastorek headlines the group that led IUP to the semifinals of both the PSAC and NCAA Atlantic Region tournaments and finished with a 23-7 record.

IUP is gunning for another run at the PSAC tournament championship after winning the title in 2010 and 2011. The Crimson Hawks have reached the postseason in each of the last five years under Head Coach Joe Lombardi, including runs in the NCAA tournament each of the last four. Last year saw IUP go 23-6 overall, including an impressive 19-3 record in the conference, advancing to the PSAC and NCAA Atlantic Region semifinals.

| IUP's registration system is University Records and Systems Assistant (URSA). From a student's initial registration time for a given semester through the end of the drop/add period, as defined by the academic calendar (www.iup.edu/academiccalendar), a student may modify his/her schedule to the extent that classes are available or permission to register for a closed or restricted section has been granted and entered into URSA. Each student is responsible for completing all appropriate transactions in URSA to ensure schedule accuracy. Note that, while the department may enter permission to register for a section, the student must complete the actual registration transaction in URSA. | Academic Calendar |

Dr. White will share the most recent and compelling research on the effect of alcohol on the developing brain. He brings together a developmental understanding of the adolescent and the structural changes that the brain undergoes which affects behavioral choices. Registrants will learn how early alcohol use can be damaging to the critical developmental process occurring in the brain and the necessity to deter underage drinking.
