SUMMARY:International Lunch Hour
DESCRIPTION:To kickoff International Education Week, the Office of International Education is hosting an International Lunch Hour from 12:00 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.  Free food and music for all.  Items from Mi Esperanza, non-profit organization that supports women in Honduras will be on sale. Also, view photos from the International Photo Contest 2012 on display and vote on a favorite photo for a “People’s Choice Award”.  After this luncheon, photos will be on display in The Commonplace Coffeehouse until January 2013.

SUMMARY:Faculty-Led Study Abroad Panel
DESCRIPTION:This program is in collaboration with the Center for Teaching Excellence. For faculty in reflective practice, this 90-minute workshop is considered a large group meeting. Faculty who had led groups of students abroad will share their experiences from planning to travel to evaluation. The Office of International Education staff will discuss how to get started while the Center for Teaching Excellence will offer ideas to internationalize curricula.
