There will be a brief introductory talk on Islam and Q&A session followed by a Pizza lunch break. Visitors are also welcome to stay to observe the afternoon prayer at 12:50pm. Please note that visitors are required to dress up modestly, everyone should wear long sleeved shirts and full length pants/slacks. DESCRIPTION:The Department of Religious Studies invites all to its celebration in honor of Dr. Kwasi Yirenkyi at our end-of-year partyAll members of the community are invited to join the Religious Studies department faculty and students for a celebration in honor of Dr. Kwasi Yirenkyi as part of our  annual holiday party on Thursday, December 6, 4:30-6:30 in Breezedale.Please join us in saying farewell to Kwasi, who is retiring at the end of this semester. For 26 years he has been a very valued member of our department, and we wish to celebrate his much-deserved retirement and wish Kwasi and his wife, Rose, all the best in the fulfillment of their future hopes and dreams. We are deeply grateful to Kwasi for his dedication to our program and students. He will be sorely missed!The holiday party will also recognize our graduating seniors, our office staff, and the winner of the Fabiny Scholarship, Gabrielle Kennedy. Please join us.
