The College of Humanities and Social Sciences is the intellectual heart of IUP. It promotes the overall development of all IUP students. The college creates a thriving environment for curricular and extracurricular opportunities that support student and faculty critical thinking through extended research, analysis, synthesis, and problem-solving processes. It encourages an academic and social climate that recognizes faculty professional expertise and student imaginative capacities in the pursuit of a better world. The college fosters an atmosphere that encourages our students to seek advanced disciplinary, academic, and professional preparation and qualifications and to find personally and socially fulfilling leadership roles in an ever more complex and demanding world.
Mr. Dadson is responsible for the entire technology infrastructure of the college. He assists the dean of the college in managing the infrastructure and technology resources of the college and works closely with the dean, associate deans, and the faculty.
