Geography and Regional Planning
The IUP Bachelor of Science in Regional Planning is one of only 15 accredited undergraduate programs in the United States.

The History program at IUP is excellent preparation for students interested in teaching, government service, pre-law training, broad business opportunities, work in varied fields of journalism, archival positions, and for public history.
Journalism
Preparing students for careers in news and public relations, with opportunities in related areas such as magazines, advertising, visual journalism, online journalism, and marketing
Latin American Studies
Latin American Studies focuses on the history, literature, culture, geography, political economy, and social organization of Latin America.
Pan-African Studies
This program offers events, courses, and a minor, all of which focus on people of African descent throughout the world.
Philosophy
