The students and staff of the Department of Hospitality Management are sponsoring an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner to raise funds for the Pathway Homeless Shelter and the Alice Paul House. Dinner will be served at the Allenwood Restaurant on Sunday, September 20, 2009.

Students from the Department of Hospitality Management will be volunteering at the National Tourism Association convention, November 15–19, 2008, in Pittsburgh.

Hospitality Management recently published a history of the department, now available on the department website.

Stephen B. Shiring, a member of the Butler County Area Vocational Technical School's Culinary Arts Occupational Advirory Committee, will attend the 2008 2009 meeting on Thursday, November 13, 2008.

As a member of a site evaluation team for the Accreditation Commission for Programs in Hospitality Administration, Stephen Shiring will evaluate the Hospitality Management Program at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.

Hospitality Management students in the Housing the Homeless and Feeding the Hungry (Senior Syntheses) course will host a spaghetti dinner to raise money for the Pathways Homeless Shelter.
