The Robert E. Cook Summer Honors Program is designed for talented high school students who desire a serious academic challenge in a college setting. Morning classes are discipline specific, including classes in History, Journalism, Law, Leadership, Music, Physics, Performing Arts, Web Design, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Economics, Film, Finance and Forensics. The afternoon Great Questions sessions are comprised of humanities options focusing on reading, critical thinking, debate, discussion and writing. Students select English, Philosophy, Fine Arts or History as a way to explore questions such as “What do we know? What do we believe?”, “How can we tell the Good from the Bad?”, “How do we create and use the past?” and “How do we understand Art?”
Half and full tuition merit awards are offered to qualified applicants who are nominated by a counselor or teacher. Please complete the form below and we will contact the nominated student with more information and an application.
