HNRC 101, 102, 201 – Replaces the following Humanities requirements. (14 credits of HNRC 101, 102 and 201 replace 15 credits):
- ENGL 101 College Writing
- ENGL 121 Humanities Literature
- HIST 195 History of the Modern Era
- Philosophy/Religious Studies Elective (one of the following: PHIL 101,120,221,222, 223 or RLST 101,102)
- Fine Arts Elective (one of the following: ARHI 101, DANC102, MUHI 101, MUHI 102, THTR 101)
HNRC 202 – May replace two of the following Science or Social Science requirements. (four credits of HNRC 202 replace six credits):
- 1 unit of Biology => Natural Science Non-Lab Elective
- 1 unit of Psychology => PSYC 101
- 1 unit of Anthropology => Social Science Elective (Does not count as non-Western requirement.)
Note: Any two of the above can be taken, including two from the same discipline.
