Fine Arts Events Calendar

Fine Arts Opportunities for HNRC 102, Spring 2012 (choose three of the options below)

  • Feb. 11, 5:30 p.m.: Ron Ali will meet students (probably in Whitmyre) and briefly prep them before taking them to the faculty art opening in Sutton 6-8 p.m.. This event is free.

  • Feb. 25, 2:00 p.m.: Dr. Berlin will meet students in the Pratt Hall lobby to attend a performance of the Vagina Monologues.

  • April 1: Dr. Caraway will take students to Wind Dances 2-4:30 p.m..

  • April 1: Dr. Berlin will take students to the foreign film Last Train Home at 5:30. This film is in Mandarin, free and will be shown in Sprowls Auditorium.

  • April 10: Mr. Chimonides and others will read a play about the BP oil spill on the anniversary of that spill, April 10, at 7p.m.. Probably in the Great Hall.

  • April 15: Dr. Goebel will take students to the foreign film Mid-August Lunch at 5:30. This one is in Italian, free, and again in Sprowls.

  • April 19: and possibly a second performance on April 20 - Dr. Baumler will take students to see The Gentleman Dancing Master

  • April 27: Dr. Berlin will take students to an interdisciplinary performance called Boundaries on campus
