In Fall 1963, the first students arrived on the IUP campus in Kittanning (Armstrong County) to start college.
Since then, almost 6,500 students have earned an IUP degree having been students on this campus, which is now known as the Northpointe campus. From the beginning, the IUP campus in Armstrong County has been about providing access to high-quality higher education.
In celebration of our 50th anniversary, we will be planning a series of events and activities. Whether you were “at Kittanning” or “at Northpointe,” we hope you will consider joining us regardless if you are an alumni, a friend of the university, or a local resident.
