The IUP Institute for Rural Health and Safety brings together university personnel from various disciplines and professional backgrounds to solve problems related to rural health and safety.

It provides driver education, improvement programs, first responder, and emergency response team training.

Center for Emergency Services Training
The Center for Emergency Services Training offers Pennsylvania Department of Health-certified courses and other programs to emergency-services providers. See our list of courses.
Center for Transportation
The Center for Transportation offers safety and drivers education courses which are offered through the Institute for Rural Health and safety and is the home of the IUP Highway Safety Project.
