Criminology
The department offers students a broad liberal arts education that prepares them for careers in the criminal justice system and encourages critical thinking about issues of crime and justice.
Culinary Arts
The Academy of Culinary Arts at Indiana University of Pennsylvania is a nationally-recognized cooking school. Choose from accelerated programs in Culinary Arts and Baking and Pastry or earn your B.S. degree with our combination Culinary and Hospitality Management, Culinary and Nutrition or Culinary Dietetics options.
Food and Nutrition
We have educated more than 1,000 dietitians/nutritionists over the past 30 years. Our challenge is to provide you with a comprehensive and progressive education so that you, also, can become one of our outstanding graduates.

Hospitality Management
Graduates of IUP’s Hospitality Management program are well-rounded and well-prepared and have found themselves in satisfying positions around the world.
Human Development and Environmental Studies
The department offers four programs—Child Development and Family Relations, Family and Consumer Sciences Education, Fashion Merchandising, and Interior Design—that prepare graduates to support human and environmental needs and perform professionally.
Employment and Labor Relations
The M.A. in ELR is a multidisciplinary program designed to prepare professionals for a career in the field of Employment Relations.
Nursing and Allied Health Professions
The Department of Nursing and Allied Health Professions offers undergraduate degrees in Nursing, Respiratory Care, Clinical Laboratory Science, and Nuclear Medicine Technology, as well as an M.S. in Nursing and a Ph.D. in Nursing. In collaboration with the Industrial and Labor Relations Department, it also offer an M.S. in Health Services Administration.
Safety Sciences
The Safety Sciences Department prepares individuals for careers in the safety, health and environmental profession.
