How do I get emergency notification from IUP during important critical events at IUP?

IUP maintains an emergency response system to contact and alert students and all members of the university community to critical situations and to provide emergency response instructions. Please take a minute to go into URSA and update your emergency contact information. Once you log onto URSA, choose “Personal Information and Survey” and then “Student — Insert/Update Cell Phone and Emergency Contact Information.” Click on the “Insert New Record” button and fill in the fields as requested.

Please insert a new record for yourself and an emergency contact person. IUP will use the information ONLY in the event of an emergency. Through a computerized system, you and your contact will be informed of the emergency via cell phone and/or home phone.

Remember to promptly update your emergency contact information in the event of any changes as they occur in the future.
