Suites On Maple East

The Health Service is the campus health-care provider for IUP students. Part of the Center for Health and Well-Being, it opened in the fall of 2008 at Suites on Maple East (the corner of Pratt Drive and Maple Street). The ground floor contains offices providing health services for students (formerly the Pechan Health Center), counseling services, health education services, and alcohol, tobacco, and other drug services. Important Points for Spring 2010

  • Spring patient care service begins January 19
  • Patient care hours for Spring are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Appointments are now needed for routine physicals, including women’s health and STD screening. Call for an appointment
  • Administrative hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Closed weekends
  • Closed to patient care during Spring break
  • Last day of Spring care is May 7, 2010
  • Open for early Summer session May 10, 2010

For emergency care when we are not open, go to Indiana Regional Medical Center’s emergency department or call 911 (9-911 if on campus). There is a blue emergency phone at both ends of the Center for Health and Well-Being (Suites on Maple East) on the corner of Pratt and Maple.
