Suites On Maple East

The Health Service is the campus health-care provider for IUP students.

Part of the Center for Health and Well-Being, it opened in the fall of 2008 at Suites on Maple East (the corner of Pratt Drive and Maple Street). The ground floor office provides routine health services for students. Use the links to the right to learn more about our services, fees, and procedures. Our address, phone number, and hours of operation are shown below. We welcome questions via e-mail.

Important Points for Spring 2013

  • First day of Spring services: January 28
  • Patient care: 9:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
  • Appointments required for most visits. Walk-ins will speak with a nurse.
  • Administrative hours: 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
  • No patient care during Spring Break
  • Closed major holidays and weekends

While the Health Service does not provide direct emergency care or advanced life support, we do provide stabilization and transportation support for emergency situations while we are open for patient care. For emergency care when we are not open, go to Indiana Regional Medical Center’s emergency department or call 911 (9-911 if on campus). There is a blue emergency phone at both ends of the Center for Health and Well-Being (Suites on Maple East) on the corner of Pratt and Maple.
