Hawk Rock Scheduled for October 19–20, 2013

Are you ready to ROCK? Join us this fall for the 2013 IUP Hawk Rock, a 24-hour dance-a-thon beginning at 10:00 a.m. on October 19 and continuing until 10:00 a.m. on October 20, 2013, at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex. Dance, eat, play games, and, best of all, raise money for local nonprofit agencies! Every penny of the Hawk Rock proceeds benefits domestic Indiana charities. For more information on how to be part of this fantastic cause, visit the Hawk Rock webpage or e-mail rcwr@iup.edu.

The purpose of Hawk Rock is to honor the cause, celebrate everybody’s hard work fundraising, and continue spreading awareness of the issue of hunger and homelessness to the community. Funds and goods benefit ICCAP, Family Promise of Indiana County, and Community Kitchen of Indiana County—all of which assist those in need right here in Indiana County.

Please review the Dancer Information Rules and Safety Form. Participants can copy the form and drop it off at the Service Learning Program, Pratt 301, or you can bring it with you to the registration table at the IUP Hawk Rock.

Members of both the IUP and Indiana County communities are welcome and encouraged to join at the Hawk Rock! All ages are welcome (teams with children under 18 must have a chaperone on their team and with them at all times). Check out our Facebook page for updated information!
