Up to six credits of graduate work taken as a graduate student at another institution or up to 12 graduate credits originally earned in one graduate program at IUP may be applied toward a different graduate program.
- Transfer credit must carry a grade of “B” or its equivalent or better (Note: grades of CR, P, or S are not acceptable.)
- Credits more than five years old at the time of first registration into a program are not transferable.
- No courses are transferred without this request from the student/coordinator.
- A catalog course description or course syllabus must be attached.
- An official transcript must be received in the School of Graduate Studies and Research.
- After a decision is rendered by the School of Graduate Studies and Research, the student’s department and the student are notified of the transfer decision.
- If requesting two courses, complete a separate form for each course.
