Those qualities are key to the educational experience offered through graduate programs at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Providing graduate education since 1957, IUP offers nearly fifty master’s degree programs, nine doctoral programs, and numerous certificate programs to more than two-thousand graduate students.
IUP is the only public university in Pennsylvania classified by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching as a Doctoral/Research University. IUP is also a member of the Council of Graduate Schools, the Northeastern Association of Graduate Schools, and the Pennsylvania Association of Graduate Schools.

Students work closely with faculty members who have earned national and international reputations in their areas of expertise while remaining committed to teaching. Students also have opportunities to present their work at conferences, symposia, and exhibits.
