Indiana University of Pennsylvania is a Carnegie Doctoral/Research university with over two thousand graduate students and more than seventy graduate programs, including ten doctoral programs. The university is a member of the Council of Graduate Schools, the Northeastern Association of Graduate Schools, and the Pennsylvania Association of Graduate Schools.
The School of Graduate Studies and Research provides resources to faculty and students. The school facilitates research and the development of external funding to support research. It provides service to communities and coordination to IUP research centers through the Institute for Research and Community Service.
