Posters and presentations are judged by IUP faculty, and results are compiled across entries within each college. The entry with the highest score is awarded the Dean’s Award, which is a cash prize and $250 in funding that may be used to travel to a conference or other scholarly event. The second-highest scoring entry is awarded $250 in funding that may be used to travel to a conference or other scholarly event. Third and fourth prizes may also be awarded, with the prize varying from year to year. Here are the rubrics used by the 2015 judges for presentation and poster awards.
Other awards include Graduate Student Assembly Peers Choice Award and the IUP Libraries Best Bibliography Award. Here are the submission instructions for the 2016 Best Bibliography award.
