A ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the completion of a $6-million renovation of the IUP Fairman Centre was held Friday, September 18, 2009, at the downtown Punxsutawney building.
The 106-year-old IUP Fairman Centre is the former J.B. Eberhart Building. It was presented to the Foundation for IUP by the Punxsutawney Regional Development Corporation on October 27, 2006.
Located at 101 Mahoning Street in downtown Punxsutawney, the IUP Fairman Centre is a 24,308-square-foot, multiuse building with opportunities for students of IUP at Punxsutawney and the Academy of Culinary Arts.
Photos from the ribbon-cutting ceremony were provided by Keith Boyer, university photographer.
