With state-of-the-art facilities, the College of Fine Arts hosts a talented faculty and staff dedicated to expanding the minds and skills of students. We offer a balance of high professional standards and rigorous, current educational practice, and an emphasis—on stage, in the studio, and in class—on a culturally and ethnically diverse world of art. That is what students can expect from the College of Fine Arts at IUP.

In addition to the IUP Performing Arts Center, opened in September 2008, the College of Fine Arts maintains Waller Hall, a state-of-the-art theater facility housing two performance spaces, offices, classrooms, and technical studios. Home to the Department of Theater and Dance, the department also maintains a dance performance theater in Zink Hall. Fisher Auditorium, connected to Waller Hall via the new Performing Arts Center, maintains an art-deco style historic theater seating 1,460, plus dressing rooms, rehearsal space, offices, and full technical facilities.
Sprowls Hall is home to the Art Department and contains a variety of offices, galleries, and studios, including the IUP Center for Turning and Furniture Design. Large, modern studios for ceramics and sculpture for art students are located in the Robertshaw Building. Cogswell Hall houses the Music Department, having gone through a complete renovation and major addition in 2007. The building boasts a large music library, state-of-the-art classrooms, ample practice rooms, large ensemble rehearsal halls, and numerous studio and specialized classroom spaces. All departments are fully accredited, and IUP is has the distinction of being an All-Steinway School.
