EMT Training Program
The IUP Division of Emergency Services Training announces the start of the 2013 Summer Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Training Program. This is a 152-hour course intended to prepare the participant to deliver prehospital emergency medical care. The EMT course is designed for individuals desiring to work on an ambulance as well as others who may be in positions where emergency medical training would be beneficial. This would include immediate response personnel (IRP), rescue personnel, coal miners, allied health professionals, 911 dispatchers, safety professionals, school nurses, nursing majors interested in becoming a prehospital registered nurse, etc.

Registration
Preregistration is required. Anyone interested in attending should complete the enrollment form below and return it with a $100 nonrefundable deposit by June 3. Please make check payable to IUP. Enrollment is limited and will be accepted until the class is filled. IUP reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment, at which time deposit/registration fees would be refunded.
