Student Opportunities

Students looks at publications

GETTING PUBLISHED  English Writing Track majors Tory Dellafiora, Class of 2017, and Lauren Dambrogio, Class of 2014, look over the Crimson Quill and the New Growth Arts Review, two publications that publish writing by IUP students. Students can also write for the Penn, the student newspaper.

Get Involved in the Many Opportunities for English Majors

The English Department at IUP is a thriving, active, and supportive community.

This gives English majors many out-of-classroom chances to learn and excel, demonstrate their knowledge and skills, and become involved in meaningful projects in the community.

You can get involved in English-specific and other campus organizations and give a professional presentation at the annual English Undergraduate Conference.

Students can also submit their work to a number of IUP English journals and a literary magazine. Student writers are also needed for the campus newspaper.
