Micah Savidge graduated from the Robert E. Cook Honors College at IUP in May 2003 with majors in Economics and Geography and a minor in Political Science. After two years serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Republic of Moldova, Micah completed a Master of Arts degree in International Economics at Johns Hopkins University. After graduation, Micah worked on Capitol Hill before joining the American Institutes for Research as a Program Associate for USAID projects in Pakistan, the Republic of Georgia, and Zambia. Two years ago, Micah joined the U.S. State Department and has just finished his first tour as the Human Rights Officer in Romania.
