Tracey L. Missien serves as interim director for the Office of Workforce Education and Economic Development. Ms. Missien joined the university in 2007 as assistant director of Business Development and Training Services in the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology.
Ms. Missien holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a Master in Business Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Her background includes over twenty years of corporate experience in healthcare and financial services. Ms. Missien has a proven record in business strategy development and implementation, investor relations, and corporate communications. During her career, she has held mid- and senior-level management positions, including director of Industrial Services for Benchmark Medical, Inc., director of Investor Relations and Corporate Compliance for Northstar Health Services, and various management positions with Matrix Rehabilitation and Prudential Financial.
Ms. Missien has been the recipient of several awards for accomplishments in management, sales, and customer service. Ms. Missien is a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the University Senate, and the Business Advisory Board for the Indiana County Technology Center, and she is a former panel advisor for PowerLink Pittsburgh.
