Bob Strouse, a 1970 IUP graduate, has established a scholarship in honor of retired Mathematics professor Merle Stilwell.

A new scholarship fund that will be used to recruit the brightest and most deserving undergraduate students has been established at IUP. The Admissions staff will begin awarding the renewable scholarships in Fall 2013.

Gifts totalling $135,000 from Alcoa and the Alcoa Foundation will fund several initiatives for students and a fatality conference for safety professionals.

Stop by the HUB on Wednesday, January 25,  from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m, and celebrate the day in the academic year when private dollars--gifts from alumni, friends, parents, and employees--kick in toward your tuition costs! 

Students who make a gift to the Student Giving Campaign during the November 3 Salute to Grads event will be able to wear a philanthropy cord at commencement.

The IUP phonathon student calling staff has set a high bar; each and every one of them has made a monetary commitment to support IUP.

A gift awaits students in their Folger Hall mailboxes, and the IUP Annual Giving Office hopes it will inspire students to think about how life at IUP might be different without the generosity of alumni and friends.
