Dr. Wygonik earned Bachelor’s of Science and Master’s of Education degrees in Business Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she received the Outstanding Student Teacher Award. She also completed an educational doctorate in Instructional Design and Technology at the University of Pittsburgh. Since beginning employment at IUP in January of 1992, Dr. Wygonik has taught numerous business and computer courses.
Dr. Wygonik has reviewed numerous textbook chapters for the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation’s ManageFirst Program, titles that include “Accounting,” “Controlling Food Costs,” and “Restaurant Marketing.” Her research interests include Civility in the Classroom and Educational Technologies.
