The John J. Prandy Memorial Award was established in memory of the late Corporal John “Jack” Prandy, a 23-year veteran with the Pennsylvania State Police Force. Those individuals who contributed to the creation of the fund have determined that an annual award will be given to a Criminology student who intends to pursue a career in law enforcement.

    2. Has achieved a 3.0 grade point average overall.
    3. Demonstrated involvement in community and/or campus activities, with preference given to those involving children and their welfare.

If you wish to apply for this award, please provide the following information. In addition, you must attach to this application form a brief, typed narrative statement explaining your qualifications for this award, and your career plans upon your graduation from IUP.
