Expected in fall 2015, the MA online program
will enroll both full- and part-time students. Full-time students will
be able to complete their degree in one year. Classes will be in a
seven-week format with 12 credits a semester and two summer classes.

The Criminology Student Chapter of the Pennsylvania Prison Society collected children’s books for the chapter’s “Reading for a Change Program” at the Indiana County Jail.

The Spinelli Scholarship has been rewarded to a graduating Criminology student since 1974. This year, a special plaque was created by alumni from the 1960s and now hangs in Wilson Hall.

The IUP student chapter of the Pennsylvania Prison Society has established the Reading for Change program at the Indiana County Jail. This program helps maintain connections between jail inmates and their children.

The Department of Criminology announces a new cohort will be starting in the Online M.A. Program in Fall 2012. Students in this program have the opportunity to complete IUP’s master’s degree in Criminology entirely online.

Starting in September, students will have the opportunity to complete Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s master’s degree in Criminology entirely on line. This is IUP’s second on-line graduate program.
