Department of Computer Science
There are four ways to get a degree in Computer Science at IUP; all of them have an "applied" flavor. That is, all of our programs try to cover the material that will be useful to a graduate in getting a job, rather than emphasizing the theoretical elements of Computer Science. The four paths to a degree (we call them tracks) differ in terms of the specific courses required. Consequently, they differ in terms of which kind of jobs a graduate in each track is best suited for.
