Sanwar Ali is a full professor of Computer
Science at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Indiana.
He holds an M.S. and Ph.D. in physics and an M.S. in computer
science from the United States. He also completed postdoctoral fellowship in electrical
engineering for two years. During his early career, Dr. Ali taught physics and
engineering. For the last 18 years, he has been teaching a wide range of
undergraduate computer science courses.
Dr. Ali’s research interests include
the application of cryptography in e-commerce, mobile commerce, quantum
cryptography, and computer education. He published several journal and
proceeding papers. Dr. Ali has been serving as a member of technical program
committees and a reviewer for several international conferences. He also
reviewed manuscripts of several books on security.
