The Communications and Marketing Office staff consists of generalists and of experts who specialize in a particular medium. While the title of this section is "Services," we as a staff would rather work with members of the campus community devise a creative solution that best meets your needs. Sometimes that best solution is a single publication or a single news release. Most often, you will need a combination of techiques to accomplish your goals. Consultation and discussion are the keys to determining what best works for you. Send e-mail to communications-project@iup.edu to start the conversation.

Advertising Q&A
The Communications and Marketing Office no longer reserves or purchases space or time for advertising. That's now done through Purchasing/Procurement Services. We do, however, continue to supply the appropriate creative goods.
Graphic Identity Standards
The graphic identity standards establish a consistent framework for presenting the university’s visual identity in printed publications, advertisements, websites, and other media.
Media Relations
The Office of Media Relations is responsible for all internal and external media placements and media relations for the IUP community, except for athletic information, which comes from the Sports Information Office.
Photography
Because photos are in high demand for the web, publications, advertising, and media relations, the university photographer is not available for assignments by the university community.
Publications
The Publications component of the Communications and Marketing area produces most publications distributed to off-campus audiences.
Resources
Take advantage of our stock materials, including fact sheets you might need to impress VIPs and templates you can use to create your own promotional printed pieces or PowerPoint presentations.
University Editor
All brochures meant for consumption by off-campus audiences must receive editorial approval.
Video Services and AV
Because video productions are highly specialized and require long-term planning, video services are not available to the campus community upon request.
Web
The content management system’s workflow process serves as the delivery vehicle for a great deal of the Web Team’s work.

Note: At present, university budgets are not assessed for the Communications area’s services, and members of the university community who access these services need only plan to incur expenses for necessary overtime for university employees, printing, and special photography, illustration, or writing services not performed by university staff members.
