Nafisah Ahmad Sulaiman presented her work this weekend at the National Communication Association's 109th annual conference in Washington, DC.
Her paper was titled “Understanding Facebook Crisis Communication in the Context of Dialogic Theory of Public Relations: A Case Study of Twitter Ban in Nigeria.”
The panel was called “Understanding Aspects of Twitter and Reddit” and was sponsored by the Human Communication and Technology Division.
Nafisah is from northern Nigeria. She acquired her bachelor of arts in mass communication in 2006 from Bayero University Kano, her master of science in communication in 2016 from Walden University in Minnesota, and is currently pursuing her PhD in Communications Media at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is a third-year PhD student.
