Student Regalia
Students obtain their graduation regalia at the Co-op Store during the Salute to Grads event on April 16. Questions about regalia should be directed to the Co-op Store: (800) 537-7916 or (724) 357-3145.
Diplomas
Diploma covers are presented at Commencement ceremonies. Actual diplomas will be sent to graduates after their final academic record has been checked for completion of all graduation requirements and final grades. The diploma is sent usually four to six weeks after the semester, mailed to the address the students specified on their graduation application.
Undergraduate Honors Medallions
Undergraduate students who've earned a minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA and met all the requirements for IUP academic honors by the last graded semester may wear an honors medallion at Commencement. They may obtain their medallion at the Co-op Store during the Salute to Grads event or, after that day, from the Registrar’s office in Clark Hall.
Students who did not have the required minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA before the ceremony but will have achieved this once the final-semester grades are posted will receive their honors medallion along with their diploma in the mail. Students who have achieved academic honors when the final degree checkout is made will have the honors posted on their diploma.
Academic Regalia
Faculty planning to participate in the academic processions at Commencement are reminded that the deadline for ordering rental regalia at the Co-op Store is April 19. The last day to rent regalia is May 3.
