The Center for Health and Well-Being offers a range of services that address the components of total well-being—physical, mental, and emotional—in one convenient location.
The mission of the IUP Center for Health and Well-Being is to enhance student academic success and foster a healthy campus environment by providing programs and services that promote individual physical, emotional, and psychosocial well-being.
Achieving and maintaining wellness is an active process that is crucial to a successful experience in college. The Center for Health and Well-Being is available to facilitate that process by offering students easier access to health-related services and programs: Health Services; the Counseling Center; services of the Health AWAREness program and the Nutrition Connection; Recreational Programming; and the Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs program. These individual services, working together, make the Center for Health and Well-Being a great place for students to seek help, receive health care, and get support in their efforts to be well. Most services provided at the Center for Health and Well-Being are funded by students’ Wellness Fees.
The Center is located on the ground floor in the Suites on Maple East, 901 Maple Street, Indiana, PA 15705. You can find us by entering the building through the corner entrance across from Folger Dining Hall and the Crimson Event Center.
