The Center for Health and Well-Being (CHWB) opened in Fall 2008 as a centralized, convenient resource for IUP student health needs.
Located on the ground floor of the Suites on Maple East, the Center for Health and Well-Being offers health-related services and programs which contribute to the academic success and general well-being of our students. The departments located within the center include the Health Service; the Health AWAREness program and the Haven Project; the Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs (ATOD) program and PA-SWAT; the Counseling Center Fitness and Recreation; and the Nutrition Connection. These individual services, working together, make the Center for Health and Well-Being a great place for student to seek help, receive health care, and get support in their efforts to be well.
