The following programs are available throught the Department of Chemistry:
- B.A. in Chemistry
- The curriculum leading to the B.A. in Chemistry is designed to allow for the workable union of nonscience areas with chemistry in such a way as to retain the fundamental science and mathematics requirements needed for a career in chemistry.
- B.S. Chemistry/Pre-Medical Track
- The Pre-Medical concentration includes all courses required for entrance into medical school.
- B.S. in Chemistry
- The B.S. in Chemistry is a professional degree, certified by the American Chemical Society.
- B.S.Ed. in Chemistry
- The B.S.Ed. degree with a Chemistry major is designed to prepare the student to teach chemistry at the secondary school level.
- M.A. in Chemistry
- The M.A. in Chemistry is based largely on course work, compared to the M.S. degree, which requires an original thesis.
- M.S. in Chemistry
- The Master of Science degree requires an original thesis. Students enrolled on a full-time basis typically complete the program in two years.
- Minor in Chemistry
- Twenty study hours are required for a minor in Chemistry.
