Join the IUP Career and Professional Development Center on Wednesday, September 8, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Oak Grove for its annual fall open house, Goal in the Grove! Check out how the CPDC can help you in your future career plans.
Learn more about some of the valuable programming we have planned for this fall, with events such as our Career Ready Seminar Series and Professional Panel Series. We’ll also have team members there to discuss other programs and services in our department, such as the Disney College Program, Handshake, the Washington Center Internship Program, résumé reviews, career coaching appointments, and more.
Representatives from the IUP Ambassadors, the Office of Alumni and Friends, and the Office of Annual Giving will also be in attendance. There will be lots of giveaways, candy, and free food for attendees.
Tammy Manko, director of the CPDC, is excited to kick off the fall semester with one of our longstanding events. Goal in the Grove is a great opportunity for students to learn, in quick fashion, how our CPDC team can support them throughout their time at IUP (and thereafter) relative to identifying a career path and being well prepared for internship opportunities and the professional world in general. The CPDC is a great group of people that care about our students and their success, and we know how to make career education and planning interesting and fun! And, who among us doesn't like the giveaways at GIG?!
