Don’t miss out on this opportunity to meet representatives from local and national companies and organizations. Employers will be looking for individuals for full-time positions, as well as internships and co-ops. The Career Expo and Graduate School Fair also provides you an opportunity to explore employers and career opportunities that you may have never thought about. Participating also provides you with an opportunity for face-to-face contact with recruiters and a chance to polish your networking skills (no matter how brief your contact). Although the Career Expo and Graduate School Fair is primarily intended for IUP juniors and seniors of all majors, freshmen and sophomores may also attend to get a general idea of what a career fair entails, as long as they are dressed appropriately.
Upperclassmen and alumni are encouraged to take the time to prepare a resume and bring multiple copies (30 to 40) with you. Professional dress is required.
To help you prepare for the Career Expo and Graduate School Fair, view our tips on writing a resume, job fairs, and interviewing.
Prior to entering the career fair, check out the Green Room!
The IUP Career Expo and Graduate School Fair 2017 offers employers with full-time and part-time entry-level, internship, and co-op positions an opportunity to meet in one central location with alumni, graduating students, and upperclassmen. Candidates attending will be IUP current students or graduates of the university with associate, bachelor, and/or graduate degrees. Employers will be able to speak with candidates, distribute recruitment literature, and conduct brief interviews.
Our Graduate School Fair is the perfect opportunity for universities to recruit undergraduate students and alumni who are considering graduate school. IUP offers more than 130 majors for undergraduates and more than 60 master’s and doctoral programs, so you’re sure to recruit quality, motivated students from programs you’re seeking.
Employer and Graduate School registration will be updated by mid-spring semester.
