The Career and Professional Development Center offers a vast array of services for career-oriented students and graduates. Our goal is to help students to become more confident in their professional development and networking abilities so they can make informed decisions about graduate schools and career opportunities.

Join Us at the Six O’Clock Series Business Attire Fashion Show

Have you looked in your closet lately? Do you have the right professional wardrobe?

Members of the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology Student Advisory Council and Greek Life organizations will model appropriate and inappropriate attire for various situations during the Six O’Clock Series on Monday, September 28, in the HUB Ohio Room beginning at 6:00 p.m. (Hint: Two days before the IUP Career Expo!).

IUP Career Expo - Wednesday, September 30, 2015, Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  

The IUP Career Expo 2015 offers employers with entry-level, internship, and co-op positions an opportunity to meet in one central location with alumni, graduating students, and upperclassmen. Candidates attending will be IUP current students or graduates of the university with associate, bachelor, and/or graduate degrees. Business attire is required.


WestPACS Collegiate Job & Internship Fair - Wednesday, October 14, 2015, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., Monroeville Convention Center. 

The WestPACS employer registration will open July 2015, and student (candidate) registration will open August 2014.

IUP CareerConnect!

Built from the ground up by career services professionals, IUP CareerConnect, powered by Symplicity, enhances how information is shared and processed both within IUP and between our students and employers.

Students will use the single sign-on they use when logging in to campus computers (please do not register for an alumni account if you are a current student); alumni, employers, and faculty/staff will be required to complete a new user registration.  

Drop-in Résumé Reviews – Fall and Spring Semesters

The Career and Professional Development Center hosts Drop-In Résumé Reviews every Tuesday and Wednesday from 4:00–6:30 p.m. in Pratt 302 during the fall and spring semesters. Trained career coaches will be available to critique your résumé, so bring a draft copy and learn how to create a good résumé!
