About: IUP Women's Basketball
The Crimson Hawks are looking to return to the PSAC tournament for the fifth straight year under Head Coach Jeff Dow, and he returns five starters from a season ago. A Division II Bulletin Preseason All-American, Pastorek headlines the group that led IUP to the semifinals of both the PSAC and NCAA Atlantic Region tournaments and finished with a 23-7 record.

IUP is gunning for another run at the PSAC tournament championship after winning the title in 2010 and 2011. The Crimson Hawks have reached the postseason in each of the last five years under Head Coach Joe Lombardi, including runs in the NCAA tournament each of the last four. Last year saw IUP go 23-6 overall, including an impressive 19-3 record in the conference, advancing to the PSAC and NCAA Atlantic Region semifinals.

8:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. | Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex Country super star Rodney Atkins brings his latest live performance to the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex on March 22, 2013. Special guests Josh Thompson and Tyler Farr will join Rodney Atkins on stage. This will be Atkins’ second appearance in Indiana, but his first as a headliner. Atkins first performed at the Kovalchick Complex as the opening act for Darius Rucker on October 7, 2011.

Contemporary country singer Rodney Atkins has an impressive track record with hitting on sentiments that strike a chord with the country music listener. He’s had six number one hits from his first three albums including “Watching You,” “If You’re Going Through Hell,” and “These are my People,” and his most recent smashes “Take a Back Road” and “Farmer’s Daughter.” Atkins has sold over four million singles in the past five years alone. “Take a Back Road” most recently won BMI Song of the Year in October.
Special guest Josh Thompson is also no stranger to the stage. He’s spent the last three years touring in support of his Top 10 country debut album Way Out of Here. His first single, “Beer on the Table,” cracked the Country Top 20 upon its release in 2010. This will be Thompson’s second time in Indiana. His last appearance was at the 2011 Indiana County Fair. |

It's an evening of high-energy crafty cuisine, featuring the up-and-coming chefs from the Academy of Culinary Arts at IUP under the direction of Chef Albert Wutsch.
But wait! Diane Wagoner's sustenance-sensitive counterparts from IUP’s Department of Food & Nutrition will keep those starchy chefs in tow with healthful facts, tips and alternatives to ensure this evening delivers a night packed full of hearty healthy fun!
Doors open at 5:00 pm for free samples, demonstrations, gift bags, vendors, Grand Raffle Table, door prizes and more!

Last year’s field rivaled the biggest and deepest in the country and continues to grow, already garnering entry commitments from some of the top athletes from coast to coast that want to compete in the best postseason event, and the only one in which wrestlers from all grades hash it out for a single national title.
Fifteen of the National Finalists from 2012 are back and pledged to do battle again. Stars such as Kyle Snyder, the Valencias, Josh Llopez, Isaiah Martinez, Zeke Moisey, and Nick Nevills graced the mats in the finals a year ago.
With Flo’s ability to stream events, they will be webcasting live this year’s action on all 12 mats.
