The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at IUP is offering QuickBooks classes on three Saturday's this fall: QuickBooks I - Getting Started on October 13; Quickbooks II - Kicking It Up a Notch on October 20; and Basic Understanding of Generated Financial Reports & Preventing Common Errors on November 3. All are Saturday mornings from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. Cost: $50 for one, $90 for any combination of two or $120 for all three. The Small Business Development Center at IUP is offering seminars on starting and expanding a business. Sample topics are start-up regulatory issues, creating financial projections, how to develop a business plan, and financing. The fee is waived because of the Jobs Act. Registration is required.
