IRB Workshop: Defining Privacy

IUP’s Institutional Review Board (IRB) provides oversight for research with human participants. The Board is introducing new, simplified forms and instructions as well as an educational series this spring to provide a forum for investigators and their advisors to learn about and/or discuss standards and practices associated with human subjects research. Each one-hour session will begin with a brief (10-15 minute) presentation pertaining to the topic of the day, followed by discussion of the topic and/or any other topic of interest to attendees. All sessions will be held in 109 Uhler. 02/27/13: Defining privacy 03/27/13: Basics of informed consent 04/10/13: Vulnerable Populations The program is open to everyone, but seating is limited.
