IUP alumnus Nathaniel Moser directs this oft-overlooked early work of Neil Simon’s; by revealing it’s humanity in a hilarious fashion. Performances will be held May 30-31 and June 1, at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 2, at 2:00 p.m., in the Waller Hall Studio Theater. Conceived, written and directed by NYU graduate student and IUP alumnus Joe York, comes "Frank n' Fluff," a heartwarming tale about a boy and his quest for friendship. After unexpectedly losing his favorite stuffed animal, young Frank harnesses his sewing skills to create the ultimate best friend with the parts of his other toys. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Fluff gets out, Frank's fellow students, teachers and the entire town all band together to stop the walking and talking creation. Their life is wonderful - the World Fair is about to begin and love is in the air - however, this happy world crumbles when Mr. Smith runs into financial trouble and announces that the family will have to move to New York. Come join Footlight Players' production as we follow the Smiths and learn if they leave for the Big Apple or stay in their beloved St. Louis.
