The East African nation of South Sudan gained independence from Sudan in July 2011. The ambassador will discuss the historical process through which his nation was born and will outline a way to the future. Co-sponsored by the Pan-African Studies program and the College of Education and Educational Technology. Free and open to the public. Attendance vouchers will be provided.
