Four women associated with the exhibit, "In Sisterhood: The Women's Movement in Pittsburgh" - Dr. Patricia Ulbrich, Ms. Barbara Hafer, Ms. Ann Begler, and Dr. Maureen McHugh - will discuss "share their experiences, the importance of the Women's Movement, and the related exhibit," whose goal is to not only pay tribute to the women in Western Pennsylvania who "worked hard to promote equality," but also, "to raise awareness about the role of social movements in our democratice society and to encourage civic engagement." This event is FREE and cosponsored by the President's Commission on the Status of Women in in collaboration with Women Studies, the African American Cultural Center, 6 O'clock Series, and a number of other University departments.
