Cynthia Oliver ’84, MA ’85

    Catholic Charities Greater Pittsburgh Diocese

    Cynthia is a 1984 and 1985 graduate of IUP and holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree is public affairs. 

    She currently works for the Catholic Charities Greater Pittsburgh Diocese as the director of Advancement. Cynthia has over 20 years of experience as a private and nonprofit senior-level executive and business owner. In the past, she helped own and manage a real estate investment company with her husband.

    Cynthia is also a nationally certified nonprofit executive director. She has previously served nearly 10 years as a nonprofit executive director, working with Mothers Against Drunk Driving and different Girl Scout councils in New York and Pennsylvania.

    Cynthia is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the United Way Women’s Leadership Council and serves as the chapter director of Pittsburgh’s Chief Operating Officer Forum.

    Cynthia has five children and lives with her family in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
