Frequently asked questions about the Boy Scouts of America and/or Troop 11.

Help! My son's patrol is responsible for the next Court of Honor! What do I do?

First, take a deep breath and relax. There are a lot of families in the troop who have been in your shoes and will be more than willing to give you tips, pointers, and probably lend you a hand if you ask. Also, check out the How To section of this website for some instructions. Oh, you can let that breath out now, by the way.

Is there any place that will give me a discount on Court of Honor items (decorations, tableware, etc.)?

The troop has an account with Papermart in Monroeville (behind the Jonnet Building).  If you pay with a troop check, you will receive a 30 percent discount on your purchase. The check can be obtained from the troop treasurer.  Make sure to tell them you are from Troop 11 in Penn’s Woods Council.

I'd like to purchase some Troop 11 clothing. Who do I see and what is the cost?

The person who takes care of the clothing varies, so your best bet is to ask at a meeting. The cost of the individual items is as follows:

Crew neck T-shirts (ash gray): $5
Polo Shirts (ash gray): $20 (approx.)
Hooded pullover or zipper sweatshirt (ash gray): $25 (approx.)
Lined maroon jackets (with or without hood)

  • Youth: $36
  • Adult: $40 (Sizes above XL may be more expensive.)

Limited quantities/sizes of the following are also available:

Crew neck sweatshirts (maroon):

  • Youth (9 oz wt.), approx $19
  • Adult (12 oz. wt.), approx $22
